Applicant Privacy Notice

This notice explains what happens to the information you give us when you apply through a Teamly application link. It sits alongside the Applicant Terms you sign on the first screen of the application.
What we collect
- Contact details you enter: first name, last name, email address, and phone number.
- Your answers to the application questions shown on the link you were sent.
- A record of your agreement to the Applicant Terms: the document version, the acknowledgment text shown to you, your typed signature, the time you signed, a hashed form of your IP address, and your browser user agent.
- Technical context about how you arrived: the landing URL, referrer, campaign parameters, and device type.
Why we use it
- To assess your application and match you with relevant opportunities across the Teamly network.
- To contact you about your application, including booking an introductory call.
- To keep an auditable record that you were shown and accepted the Applicant Terms.
- To detect duplicate or fraudulent applications.
Who sees it
- Teamly staff involved in reviewing applications.
- Service providers who host our systems, deliver scheduling, and process applications on our behalf, under contract and only for those purposes.
- Employers or partners only where you have applied to an opportunity that involves them.
How long we keep it
- Application records are retained while your candidacy is live and afterwards for as long as we need them to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations.
- Agreement acceptance receipts are retained for the life of the agreement plus any applicable limitation period.
Your choices
- You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
- You can withdraw your application at any time.
- To make a request, email privacy@teamly.com from the address you applied with.
Security
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to staff who need it. IP addresses attached to agreement records are stored as a one-way hash rather than in the clear.
